

PlayStation.Blog: What was your goal when you first started developing the PS Vita version of Most Wanted? We sat down with Matt earlier this week to find out exactly how Criterion has pulled it off. Producer Matt Webster and his team have squeezed almost the entire experience onto the handheld, and even found room for a little bit of extra content exclusive to the system. That the PlayStation 3 version is very, very good should come as no surprise, but somewhat more unexpected is the amount of care the studio has lavished on replicating the experience on PlayStation Vita. Stay tuned in the days ahead as we learn more about the next Need For Speed DLC.Next week sees the keenly anticipated release of Need for Speed Most Wanted, the latest release from Criterion Games – the legendary UK racing specialist behind the Burnout series and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, the phenomenal 2010 entry in EA’s long-running street racing franchise. We're not completely sure what sort of updates Need For Speed will deliver, but the official NFS "Under The Hood" blog post will definitely reveal a lot of new details.

Fans were definitely upset when they learned that the neon lights were only available on Morohoshi's Lambo.Īdditional new features that fans have been begging for include new challenges, even more exterior customization options across the board, additional space in the garage, as well as new vehicles to join the game. Neon lights are one of the features the new DLC is expected to deliver completely. Finally, you can also win Eddie's own R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec too.Īdditional cars that were available in past updates include Morohoshi's own Boso-style Lamborghini Diablo complete with neon lights and a crazy purple finish. New wraps, decals, collectibles and trophies were also added in the content.

The last update also featured 113 new visual customization items including custom big brake kits with a selection of brake calipers and rotors.
